We start every relationship with a no-cost Discovery meeting to get to know one another. If we mutually decide we’re a good fit to work together, we continue with the five-step process below. We use technology to work through the process at a pace that you feel comfortable with.
We start every client relationship with a no-cost introductory meeting. This meeting is designed to be informal and is a chance for us to get to know one another. We’ll chat about why we’re meeting and get an overview of your financial situation and goals. We’ll discuss what the client experience will be like, and go over our fee structure to ensure we’re all on the same page.
After deciding that we’re a good fit, we proceed to information gathering. This can seem like the most intimidating step, but we work hard to make it as easy as possible. We will give you a questionnaire to complete. You’ll then be given access to a secure online portal where you can easily upload the questionnaire and other important documents in one central location. We then fill in the gaps with a call or meeting to get answers to more qualitative questions.
Once all your information is organized in one place and we have a clear understanding of your goals, concerns, and needs we proceed with plan development. We’ll analyze where you are and what you have today, where you want to be in the future, and then create a plan to help you get there.
We’ll go over your plan, discuss the suggestions included, and explain how each tie into specific goals or needs we’ve previously identified. We then prioritize these to-dos and tackle them at a pace you’re comfortable with.
We’ll help keep you on track with implementing the plan we’ve put in place. However, life is full of important transitions and unexpected events that will require adjustments to even the best plans. We’ll meet periodically so we can make those adjustments and keep you on track. A financial plan isn’t a document, its a process and a journey that must evolve in order to be successful.
